About CANILA
An international liaison organization for Canada-focused mobility
CANILA — Canada International Liaison & Access — helps people navigate the tourism, education, and employment pathways connected to Canada, with structured guidance at every stage of the process.
Our mission
Canada’s tourism, study, and work pathways involve many steps, documents, and administrative processes. CANILA exists to make that process easier to understand and follow — organizing document preparation, coordinating timelines, and providing a single point of contact throughout an applicant’s journey.
CANILA is not a government body and does not issue visas, permits, or immigration decisions. Our role is to support applicants in preparing complete, accurate, and well-organized submissions, and to coordinate with the appropriate authorities where applicable.
What guides our work
Clarity
Every application status, requirement, and next step is explained in plain language — never legal jargon disguised as help.
Accountability
Every applicant is assigned a dedicated case officer who tracks their file from submission to outcome.
Independence
CANILA operates as an independent liaison organization. We are transparent about what we can and cannot guarantee.
Legal positioning
CANILA is an independent international liaison organization. We are not the Government of Canada, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), or any Canadian embassy or consulate, and we do not hold authority to approve, deny, or issue Canadian visas or permits. Where immigration representation is legally required, applicants are directed to appropriately authorized professionals.
CANILA is an independent international liaison organization and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Government of Canada, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, or any Canadian embassy or consulate. Submitting an application through CANILA does not guarantee approval by any government or third-party authority. Eligibility assessments provided by CANILA are preliminary only.
